Bio: Andrew O'Connor is the CEO of Team Merchant, a payment processing, technology and consulting company with offices in Pittsburgh and Chicago and a co-founder of Paycove(Paycove.io). Team Merchant's mission is to help merchants analyze, design and implement the best payment solutions for their unique needs. Team Merchant helps clients find, update or replace their existing payment processing, software and accounting systems with simpler, less expensive and more secure solutions. Paycove is a software startup that allows you to send custom quotes, proposals and invoices from your CRM, all connected with your payment and accounting systems too! Andrew has 10 years experience in payment processing, PCI compliance, eCommerce and software integration, Treasury Management, Point-of-Sale systems, Point to Point Encryption(P2PE) and more. In addition to small business groups, Andrew has been very involved with Echoes of Chicago, a 100% volunteer run 501 C-3 Organization that produces accessible art, music and cultural events in Chicago. He has a bachelors degree in Political Science and Philosophy from Southern Illinois University where he was also an opinion columnist and News Director of the student radio station. He lives in Chicago with his wife Hilary and their dog Nola.
