Biographical Info Steven Edelheit, CPA, CVA, is a Partner at CTM CPAs and Business Advisors, with more than 20 years of experience providing consulting and accounting services to small and mid-sized businesses across the country. His practice includes business valuations, succession planning, management advisory services and accounting systems design and implementation. Throughout his career, he has worked with a variety of clients, such as manufacturers, investment firms and event planning companies, but he has significant experience working with clients in the insurance industry. In addition to serving as a Director for the BEA, he is the Treasurer of Experience the Game, a non-profit organization that gives underprivileged children an opportunity to experience professional sporting events. He also is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Illinois CPA Society (where he previously sat on the Small Practice Advisory Task Force committee), and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. Mr. Edelheit became a Certified Valuation Analyst in 2005, receiving his certificate from the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1988.
