Elliot Richardson, Co-Founder and President of the Small Business Advocacy Council, will discuss how to empower the small business community and harnessing the power of critical mass to push forward an advocacy agenda that improves the economic climate for small businesses and entrepreneurs. Elliot will touch on the debate over the proposed graduated income tax in Illinois, fair maps and other structural issues impacting Illinois. Elliot will also focus on small business initiatives that if moved forward, will help small businesses succeed and grow in Chicago and Illinois.
